Optimization of Healthy Diet Eating Menu Using Genetic Algorithm
Abstract
Diet is often misconstrued by most people, the definition of a diet that is actually setting the diet to form the ideal body. In addition to setting diet, nutritional content of makana also must be considered. Genetic Algorithm is chosen because it is able to produce solutions that meet the criteria without having to evaluate all possible solutions, as for previous research using Genetic Algorithm to determine the diet in people with diabetes mellitus. This method enables the preparation of a meal plan that meets the established rules of all combinations without having to try all the available results. The preparation of the menu based on the needs is the best. This study builds a system that can recommend the determination of 30-day meal menu with 3 meals in one day and consider 4 types of nutrients contained from 450 foods. So get 450360 combinations of possible menu that can form. The use of genetic algorithm begins with initial population generation as an evaluation of the matching values of established criteria, crosses and mutations that continue to recur until the optimal solution is obtained. The number of violations of the test results of this system are 0 genes with the maximum number of input parameters of 10000 generations and the converging number of 1000 with a time of 70ms. The results of this study is a diet healthy diet.
