Abstract

The National Unity and Political Institution (Bankesbangpol) of Palembang City has a role in providing research permit for city government level. Researchers wishing to retrieve research data at the municipal level should seek Bankesbangpol permission by bringing a cover letter from the relevant institution. If the submission of research data is accepted then Bankesbangpol will give a permit to the researcher. Then the license from Bankesbangpol was given the researcher to the municipal government agency. The obstacles are that most researchers do not know the data-taking procedures at the city government level, the admins are hard to search the data (data), the data entry takes a long time, and the data produced or stored is difficult to access. Therefore required an information system modeling submission of research data at Bankesbangpol Palembang City to provide a picture of the concept that represents the objects in the development of information systems. Rapid Application Development (RAD) is a system development technique for modeling information systems built. Information system modeling is used to assist the software development section in making detailed information system as needed by researcher and admin at Bankesbangpol.
